| First off, what is cards to talk about. Simple, in this I will talk about a couple cards and if they are good or bad and why. What are card's advantage and disadvantage and what is it good for. The cards I am talking about today are also related to my deck building tips because its about adding consistancy. If you forgot what consistancy is, its simply how well can your deck get the the cards it needs to make the play your deck wants to play. So for this we add search cards and draw cards to get to our combo peices faster. The cards we are talking about this lesson are
http://yugioh.wikia.com/wiki/Cardcar_D http://yugioh.wikia.com/wiki/Supply_Squad http://yugioh.wikia.com/wiki/Reckless_Greed http://yugioh.wikia.com/wiki/Pot_of_Duality http://yugioh.wikia.com/wiki/Upstart_Goblin
These are all generic consistancy cards, that is why I picked them. I would love to see a nice discussion and its a good way to increase the number of posts, and posts give you dp XD. Also again check your deck and make sure its as consistant as possible. Test around with these cards you might find one that helps with your playstyle.

| It being buried kinda makes sense, you didn't really give much for discussion, just the card names and effs, lol.
Cardcar D is a really good early game card for consistancy, as at the cost of your normal summon it is essentially a pot of greed. However, it is easier to stop due to being an effect monster, and uses up your normal summon, battle phase, and you can't special summon that turn. Due to these restrictions there are not as many decks that can use it, and less that can use it well. Also, since you won't be able to use the cards that turn, and with the restrictions, it is an awful topdeck late game.
Supply Squad is the newest of the 5 listed cards, and was hyped for a while. However, there are not many decks that can truly make use of it, the main ones that can being Scraps and Fire Kings. It is a -1 until you get a monster of yours destroyed, but if they use a card to kill it it's still a 1 for 1. It still only really helps with decks that like having monsters destroyed, and on top of that it doesn't work well with recruiter decks (Hands, Yang Zing), because you do not want to draw into your recruiters. All in all it's alright but doesn't have much uses
Reckless Greed is a good draw spell, being a pot of greed at the cost of 2 draw phases. Normally this would be bad, as it's a -1 that stuns you for 2 turns, but these draw phases do not stack. Meaning, if you use multiples, you still only miss 2 draw phases from the point the last one was activated. This means that it can be really good for draw power. However, if you only draw 1 it's a -1 that stuns you hard, and even if you use multiple your opponent knows that you're not going to be drawing for a few turns, so they don't have to worry about you topdecking answers. It's still a good card if you need the draws, but it's more of a 0 or 3 card.
Pot of Duality is probably the best card of the 5 listed here for a standalone card. It gives you your choice of 1 of 3 cards, and the others go back to the deck. This lets you get to combo pieces a lot easier. However, your opponent can see what you added, and it stops you from Special Summoning that turn. Because of that last point, it's not good in heavy aggro decks, as you can't afford the turn of not Special Summoning.
Upstart Hoban (Er, Goblin) is the last of the 5 cards mentioned. This card got really popular as of late, as it essentially makes your deck a 37 card deck instead of a 40 card deck. This card does not generate any advantage, but it adds to your overall consistancy. This comes at a cost however, as your opponent gains 1000 life points. For slower decks, this can be harder to make up for, and even in faster decks that can sometimes be the difference between a win and a loss.
I also like Shard of Greed http://yugioh.wikia.com/wiki/Shard_of_Greed
Shard of Greed is a bit of a odd card, as it takes 2 turns for it to pay off, and until then is a -1, and as such it is overlooked often. However I think it's worth a second glance, because it comes at no cost to you, besides being a -1 for the 2 turns. As such it's good early to mid game, but bad late game, but most consistancy cards are like that. Also, it makes one of the best MST baits in the game, as opponents are really likely to use their MSTs on it instead of saving it for your traps, which can help you in the long run.
All in all, consistancy and advantage are 2 very important things in the game, and these cards can help with that. It's just a matter of finding the right card for the job

| See thats what I wanted from people XD Cardcar d- I can understand it being a dead draw late game but if you go first and open with it you get those 2 cards which will help keep up advantage. Most decks can't use it like you said and I think Cardcar d is good only if it helps your playstyle.
Upstart Goblin- Im not liking this card because it gives your opponent a free summon with soul charge for each one you use.
reckless greed- I love using this card in Combo Otk decks, If I only need 1 card to complete a combo in koaki meiru Im usually able to draw something that helps me otk that turn so its downsides don't matter.
supply squad- I like what you said about this card XD, Never went that deep into thought about it XD.
Also thanks for adding shard of greed.

| Hmmmm.
Cardcar D - I run it only in decks which need or more Draw Power ( Like Heroes ) Or deck which have lack of monsters so I can draw them faster.
Upstart Goblin - I use it in almost all of mine decks. It's like a Free card. If you use it on the right time and you draw right card Upstart can be too good. Who cares for 1000 LP for your Opponent when you can OTK with Upstart if you draw right card. It's really personal choice, I really like it so I gonna use it.
Supply Squad - Still don't use it much in my decks...I don't play new cards at the same moment they're realised. It can be dead draw many times and it isn't so good sometimes as it looks.
Reckless Greed - Love it ! I use it on my Blue-Eyes deck and it works epic. I especially love when I draw 3 of them...uh any Yu-Gi-Oh player should love that feel! Pot of Duality. I don't use it much. I use it in decks which are kinda slow so Pot of Duality can work. One turn without Special Summons is a big cost nowadays.
